Artist's Comments

Here is a bigger pic of the older kitchen.
It looks better in person, admittedly, but ain't that always the case?

Anyway, Yes, I do have a story in my head about the person who lives here.
If you wish to know how I built anything, all you need do is ask.
I will not list every item used to build this, but I can list other things.

Scratch built: fridge, dinette, range, counters, mixer, cutting board, light in dining room, spice rack and everything in it, trashcan and trash, curtain, clock, napkin holder, towel rack, bowl with icing and the spatula inside of it, window frame, some of the fridge food (not shown, in a previous deviation), letters on table, hot pads, whisk, towel, floor in dining room

Altered: chicken in baking pan, elephant knick knack, a few of the foods in the fridge, kitchen table, iron holding up the books, the fake wood panelling in the dining room is contact paper

Store boughts: cups, cook book, books, chair in kitchen (with scratch built cushion), grapes on wall, measuring cup, floor in kitchen is peel and stick stained glass, cereal box, trivets, ladle and utensils cup, molasses, the throw rug and pot of flowers are from a swap in my minis swap group, vintage mini cake, other pot of flowers

Haha, thanks, I try. It is always fun to me to cram in details.

Keep it up - really wild! The dinette table reminded me of childhood so much!

I have a question. About how big is it? It looks so small.
~Meowyiff:iconMeowyiff: Aug 6, 2007, 11:27:45 PM
Well, It is built in the standard one inch equals one foot scale, so that means that the kitchen counters are about three inches tall, the chairs about an inch and a half from the ground, if that helps, for I do not have the exact dimensions of the box.

These miniatures are wonderful, I particularly like the lighting...of course I'm addicted to small dolls and their accouterments!
